Max gets treated for neurologic distemper

Overall, Max is doing real well – for the most part he’s just a happy and healthy 10-month-old puppy now 🙂 He still has some neurological symptoms, such as the chomping of his jaws when he lays down and the bobbing of his head when he stands, but other than that he’s just fine. These symptoms appear to be remnants of permanent neurological damage that was done by the disease, but that makes it all the more amazing that Max was so far progressed with distemper (he really was almost gone) and yet the treatment was able to save him.

Lists of other dogs saved with NDV spinal tap.
